Just got Rock Band 3 last Friday, and hot drat is it the best rhythm game I've ever played. It's quite an experience, to be told, and the improved menus, new mechanics, and setlist make it my favorite game of the year, by far, and perhaps of the last couple of years.

I've been primarily rocking the keyboard (Pro Keys on Medium), and Expert drums. Anyone whose been struggling on Pro Keys, play the 'Learn an Instrument' mode - it's incredibly helpful. I usually begin my session every time with the scales, just to warm up before I jump into some songs.

My XBOX Live ID is jcrus0, and I'd love to eventually play some goon games.

I have a stupid question though: is there an easier way to confirm and start a setlist you've created, rather than having to scroll all the way up to the top of the song selection screen? The start button is a mini-menu now, so I have no idea if there is a simpler way to do so.

Just hold down the A/green button to confirm setlist.

That...makes sense. Can't believe I didn't think about that sooner. Thanks!

Xbox Live Gamertag is jcrus0, I mainly play Pro Keys, and drums, but I do like to rock out on the guitar every once and a while. Rock Band 3 is my current rhythm game of choice, but I also enjoy some Beatles Rock Band every now and then as well.

Whoa, whoa, WHOA. Whilest I've been pretty up-to-date with DLC announcements every Friday, I completely missed the fact that along with the Bee Gees pack, we also got our first B.B. King and Procol Harum songs. I found this out last night, when "A Whiter Shade of Pale" popped up on my recommended list when playing a 60s setlist (in the Road Challenges). After that, I almost immediately downloaded both of these tracks, on point.

We need more B.B. King, especially "Rock Me Baby," and I would kill for a Rolling Stones pack. We couldn't have a Rolling Stones pack without "Sympathy for the Devil," especially now that we have the keyboard in-game.
