I haven't worked on any music in years (at least not to any real meaningful extent), but lately I've started getting back into it. I slapped together one new track over the weekend, and hope to start adding more stuff soon. However, I recently acquired EZ Drummer 2 and Plogue's Chipsounds, and will soon start playing guitar again. Then I'll start crafting chiptunes, and primarily SID metal (ie. Machinae Supremacy, but faster and heavier and zero vocals.) I'll repost in a while when I have some actual tracks, instead of random test sounds from learning my keyboard and stuff.

Just came up with a couple of songs using the 4Beats app so basically like shooting fish in a barrel but I liked how they came out. Slow beat. Something to chill to during a rainy day, I think. I feel like this is probably the closest I've come to whatever style it is I'm trying to achieve. Anyway, I'm super happy with it. I wish I could make it "louder"...I like the dynamics now but I feel like I have plenty of room still. Welp, I hope someone gets a kick out of it!

I've been trying to make some dubstep and trap lately. I'm not used to writing and mixing music that isn't guitar based, so this is pretty new to me. I find it very hard to assess my own music so any feedback would be appreciated, especially constructive criticism about the songs themselves and the mixing. Not sure what all the engineer did EQ-wise to it though. edit: With the exception of Knock On Wood.
