The Doctor Who Kickstarter has gotten another boost from the announcement that plans for an altered version of the table based on the new series has been approved by the BBC. If they can't change the numbver of Doctors, my guess is that it'll have all seven new-series incarnations: Eight (as seen in Night of the Doctor), War, Nine, Ten, Eleven, Twelve and the Tom Baker Curator.

These tables look so much better when you can control the lighting. Guess I'll commit to Steam. Picked up season one, Attack on Mars was fun with the crazy multi balls.

Avengers is a terrible game, hth. The hulk constantly breaks and/or gets balls stuck, the high score strategy is dumb (shoot left loop until you die of boredom), and the widow ramp is probably the worst shot in the history of pinball. Not only is it hard and risky to hit, but it rejects a lot of hits and a reject has a good chance of going straight down the middle.

i finally got a new laptop and can play pinball arcade maxed out in dx11 mode  it looks amazing. so happy. my old laptop could only handle completely min settings dx9 at a reduced resolution (and even then centaur had an unplayable mid 50s fps for some reason) so its almost like im playing a whole new game. have to adjust to lights actually producing light lol

All right, this is a longshot, but does anyone here know what's up with the Michigan Pinball Expo? Usually they would have had their 2016 dates posted by now, but there hasn't been any activity on the page since last March. I thought the show might be starting to lose its focus, since last year there was a large amount of space dedicated to arcade cabinets for sale. The number of tables was way down from 2014, too, although that might have been because I went on a Thursday before everyone had a chance to bring their machines in (plus it rained all day). If it fell apart, I'll be disappointed.

Well, the casino I go to to play pinball just got a Game Of Thrones LE in, which is pretty rad. Got to put up a cool 999 million on like my fourth game, too. I'm definitely digging the rules, though I'm not particularly a fan of how strobe-happy the game is. Winter Is Coming having strobe lights is OK, since it's supposed to disorient you like a snowstorm. Same goes for Winter Has Come Multiball, but the jackpots in Blackwater Multiball shouldn't make me completely lose track of everything that's going on beyond the area around my flippers that I'm staring at as to try and not lose any balls in the chaos.

Bumpernets near Birmingham had one when I went last October and Game Galaxy Arcade near Nashville had one when I was there last week. Not sure if those are closer to you or what. I live in Georgia and it's kind of a pinball black hole. I've only been able to find various bars with one or two machines, tops.

They had the whole banquet hall filled and had about 3 other rooms throughout the building filled with pinball machines. This past year, it just felt so barren. Plus, there weren't many great tables.

Hurricane or whatever dropped. Next table is 911. The table looks good I don't know if it's actually a fun one to play. It's also one of the few tables that I've seen for sale in my area, interestingly enough.

It's funny, I don't hate Cyclone, but I've never liked Hurricane. I guess I just expect more from a table made in 1991. Well that and how if you miss a shot, each ramp is pretty much a 50/50 crapshoot as to whether or not it's heading SDTM.
