What's a good price for a fully functioning/restored Hollywood Heat?

Is $400 a decent price for a mint Circa 1933? Don't have the cash right now but I might pick it up in a couple months if it's still available. Also is the top completely flat or tilted a bit?

Huh. Didn't know there was any other twin cities area goons that posted here. I'm on 7th about a mile southwest of the Xcel Center. Haven't played any of them but have seen a Fish Tales at Shamrocks, an old Mata Hari at a bar called "Grand 7" and at least one table I didn't get close enough to recognize in a tattoo shop between the two. That's all I know of in my neck of the woods though.

Any particular Zen Pinball 2 tables recommended for someone who can't keep a ball in play? Ideally I'd like to get some practice with that on a table that I'm much less likely to get frustrated with. I seriously can't keep a ball going longer than several shots.

The Butters table in the South Park pack is pretty fun and easy to keep moving.

Yes please. I've wanted to play that machine ever since I found out there was an X-Files table out there but there's not one anywhere near me. I know it is not looked too fondly upon by people but I've been binge watching X-Files and I really just want to play it.

I'm not a pro by any means but I thought it kinda sucked/wasn't fun to play. It's waaay too fast for me to keep up with and it just seems to be one main ramp shot and then smashing the middle file cabinet repeatedly. It also moves so fast/aggressive that the ball sometimes jumps over stuff in the playfield but maybe that's a balancing thing.

I hope they phase out the lovely Stern program and move those tables over. Which is great but the reason is probably because they're lazy as gently caress and those tables are effectively already finished. I bet they'll spread them out between a couple seasons so they don't blow their load on Season 7.

One thing I still struggle with a lot is nudging and when/where to use it. I've been trying to use it like advised earlier but I feel like half the time I just end up sending the ball straight down the middle instead of accomplishing anything :v:
Most common is going to be when your ball is headed towards certain death on the left or right outlane. You'll usually want to nudge hard in the direction of said outlane.

However, I have yet to try the fabled up-nudge....

Sorry to ask what is potentially a dumb question...but I know there was a big to-do with the Pinball Arcade DLC packs and a bunch of stuff got de-listed and rearranged...and now I cannot tell what I "need" to buy to complete my collection. I have the old Season packs, 1 thru 7. What am i missing that's currently on the Steam store?
Probably Stern Pack 3 but the easiest way since no one knows when you bought these is for you to load up the game, mark down which tables you have by manufacturer, then go through each DLC pack and mark off the tables you have. The table releases/discontinuations are muddier than simply the Season to Manufacturer change.

Guess I'll just keep sticking with PBA (especially since I have every table). Glad I didn't buy any of the FX3 Williams packs since it looks like the only reason they're making a "new" version is to justify free Epic money.

Or try to finally figure out how to install/setup Visual Pinball.
