 In the Black Friday madness I was able to get a Nook with WiFi from Wal-Mart for $89. It's proving to be exceptionally useful so far, but there's a lot of functionality I'd like to get out of it through rooting. I've looked through some different sites and I'm still not sure if it's possible, or how to do it. The serial number starts with 10038 (which I see was unrootable for a while and then cracked), but it also shipped with software version 1.5. I've found a rooted 1.5 update, but since the device is already running that firmware, what can I do?
