In an earlier version, back when the game was known as Rainy Woods, there was. David Lynch sent in the lawyers and they had to retool a lot of things. I honestly think it was for the best, though - gives the game its own, unique flavour.

It's official. I'm giving up on my favorite Vlasic kosher dills because "The Pickles" is obviously a superior brand in every way. And forget about the ones that come in a jar... cans of pickles are where it's at.

A good set that Lynch had his dirty fingers all over. Has the US and foreign pilots which the original DVD first season set did not. Plus it comes with a bunch of nifty postcards, like this one:

I think it was best described as "Twin Peaks: The Fanfic". And it really does once you type it all out.

So a girl who looks juuuust like Laura Palmer shows up but she's kooky like Agent Cooper and they fall in LOVE and then she wins a beauty pageant because she's the prettiest girl in the whole town but then she's kidnapped by Cooper's ex-partner who's like a million times more evil then Bob and then they go back to the red room!!!

Terrible conclusion to the show; great as a drunken marathon.

I think the primary reason they brought Annie in was because someone was a little worried at the idea of a teenage girl hitting repeatedly on an FBI agent and the agent, on occasion, seeming to consider it. I don't think she looked much like Laura Palmer though. Are you sure you're not thinking of Maddy?

If I remember right, Kyle Maclachlan nixed it himself, supposedly because of the teenage girl/FBI agent thing, but his being involved with Lara Flynn Boyle at the time probably had a bit to do with it as well.

I hadn't seen it before, it's an interesting alternate look, especially at some of the character's original appearances. Unfortunately it's also got a pretty big spoiler for the end of Chapter 10 in it, so I wouldn't recommend linking to it until then. (About a quarter of the way through the main plot of the game, if you're wondering.)
