Stupid cliche? check. Poorly done? Not at all. Sorry Tommy, you have some really good tattoos but these are terrible.  Straight Edge cliches abound in these. And that loving "Lifer" tattoo is horrible on so many levels. GISing "Courage Crew tattoo" shows more dumb Straight Edge tattoos if anyone is interested.

Genuine naive question here: so people are supposed to get tattoos in a certain order? Like cover this part before you do that part? I'm not being snotty, I'm just ignorant of the mores here. To contribute:  We've got a couple of these chairs on our back porch; now I feel bad for not loving them as much as this person does:  Edit: the more I look at the chair, the less sense it makes.

Just to expand on this, most artists won't do your hands/ neck/throat unless you're already very heavily tattooed. It's almost like a rite of passage to get to the point where someone will not only tattoo your throat but that you won't look like a power douche with a giant throat piece. There used to be a point in time where only the most dedicated tattoo collectors would get their throats done, and only after they were completely out of space otherwise. Nowadays every 19 year old that plays bass in a melodic crabcore band has a throatpiece.
