![]() I just can't get over how bad this looks. The design itself is okay at best, but it already looks so faded, uneven, and smudged. Also both clefs just look kind of, well, wrong...

Nope, it isn't paint. Unless he paints the same exact design on his body every day, it's sadly real.

She's moving from Massachusetts to Georgia, so I doubt she'll be headed to Seattle. However, you're fortunate enough to have Heidi Scheck living in your city. And though her style is different than Zee's, she too is really loving rad.

![]() I've read this whole thread over the last few days and it seems like I've seen a lot of these crappy blue diamond tattoos, especially on the hips/back/stomach. I can't help thinking of the movie The Gift, in which a crazy dude with an abusive dad keeps yelling incoherent things about looking at a blue diamond, and then you find out the dad has a crappy blue diamond tattoo on his stomach. So presumably he used to make his son look at it while he orally raped him.

dema posted:Googled "loli". gently caress you if the FBI shows up at my place tomorrow. I live in Japan and saw a girl all dolled-up like that getting on the train as I was getting off it last night. I'm in a pretty rural area, that sorta thing is still kind of surprising to see. I think there's actually a thread in A/T about loli/gothic lolita stuff... from what I skimmed of it, I'd say a tattoo probably does contradict the statement most of them are trying to make, although that contradiction in of itself might be a statement. Still a terrible tattoo either way you slice it. Tattoos are pretty rare in Japan, as I'm sure most of you know. I live in a beach area, but aside from on foreigners, I don't think I've seen anything other than a few dumb pieces of flash on girls who went through a rebellious phase. My town is supposed to be a sort of yakuza retirement area, but I guess they keep a bit of a low profile.

I recall reading a few articles from a while back mentioning that people with tattoos were being ejected from some beaches at least partially because of the old adage about the connection beyween tattoos and undesirables/criminals in japanese society/culture(despite attitudes to this slowly changing), is there any truth to that? Desperado Bones posted:And I hope this is another case of optical illusion: It looks like the arm is probably ok, it just looks weird as poo poo because it goes from the side around to the front of the body, it would probably look less weird if there were a few pictures from different angles, like what was posted earlier to show pieces that go around an arm.

Tattoos are not welcome at most neighbourhood bath-houses because of the association with Yakuza (Japanese Mafia). Though I saw a young woman with a massive back tattoo at a bath-house two doors down from the Kyoto Yakuza's headquarters (it wasn't a secret headquarters. They had barbecues for the neighbourhood). Not sure it would have been a good idea for an outsider with a large tattoo to go to that bath-house though. Does that mermaid tattoo have something wrong with her nose too, or is it just the angle?

The doctor ended up writing her a prescription for a nicotine inhaler because she insisted she needed to keep smoking because of "stress." Anyway, here are some Hatchet Men: ![]() ![]() ![]()
