I love Facebook! This guy is 19. He tattooed a trampstamp on his underage girlfriend which I posted earlier in the thread. Now he's back and he's um...covered his entire arm and hand with clip art. ![]() Schizo! (He isn't) ![]() Skeleton hand holding cards backwards! Deformed rose! ![]() Pretty flowers! ![]() Badass skull with stuff hanging off! ![]() A gremlin/devil/thing! ![]() ... ... ...no really, what on earth is this??

I had 'that' dream again, where I have a bunch of horrible tattoos which I would never get in real life, but I seem to think are cool in the dream. Maybe my dreams are telling me that I should get a bunch of horrible tattoos. Speaking of horrible tattoos, this is a 'Naruto' tattoo, apparently.

I went looking blackwork embroidery patterns and found that blackwork also refers to a kind of tattooing. Huh. Most of it is lovely work but this is just really...black. I suppose that's what they're going for?

I think there is a goon who has something along those lines, not ENTIRELY black but 90% black with white space to provide details. It was an anime or manga art eyeball house.

A lot of times people do this to cover up something completely and utterly hideous that can't be fixed any other way. i'll never really see the appeal of the blacked out arm for reasons other than that, though.

Why on earth would you do that, even as a cover-up? I bet whatever monstrosity is hiding under there is still better than having a solid black rectangle.

Could be quite cool with a white permanent marker and used as a sort of chalkboard, it'd all wash off and you could write what you wanted on it

Just a rectangle, with lovely linework to add insult to injury. I know long lines must be hell to get straight, but that's just another reason to try to get some shape in there.

If I got a gigantic infected penis flopping over a rancid vagina, by the time I was thirty I would be really regretting it (assuming I for some reason didn't regret it initially) and there isn't much you could do to hide it. Yeah that's true, I was imagining something like his surname in bad cursive, but after seeing some of the crap in this thread you can never be too sure.

I decided to GIS 'blackwork tattoo' out of curiosity. Surprisingly, most of what is considered 'blackwork' was of good quality; I would consider it more aesthetic than most styles of tattooing. I'm not talking about solid black masses, but some of the more intricate designs are pretty good. Of course, with the good, there are the horror shows as well. Examples; Good stuff. Pretty well executed celtic design... ![]() Fairly good Tribal-type of thing (Tribal stuff is overdone, I know) ![]() 'Tribal sleeve' seems to be an overly popular choice of tattoo. ![]() And the not so good. Ummm...definitely not so tasteful... ![]() Black arms, etched pattern. ![]() Scarification over black tattoo. Freakin' horrific.

I love her to pieces, and miss her dearly, since I’m now living so far from her. She says its a surreal feeling having her face tattooed on my body, but she loves it!
