The layout and the way they are spaced scream ammo bunkers to me. Bury them, spaced out, to keep one from setting off another in a sympathetic detonation if it goes up in smoke.

You see similar layouts on a lot of military bases.

Zooming out, I see the airfield, and would like to offer Avgas bunkers as an alternative explanation. Same principle applies.
