That's a neat thing to have captured on Maps.

I really think that's a C-5 Galaxy. Just my opinion, but I think the C-17 is bulkier, and shorter.

edit: btw, this completely makes sense, as Travis AFB is just south of there.

edit again: Also, Lava Beds National Monument is an absolutely fascinating place to visit.
