Man I love my PSP. I got a 3000 a couple months ago and I just love this thing. Took me a good day or 2 to finally get the perfect video converter but motherfucker I did. Now I can watch all my old 1950's PSA and Education Films AND smack things repeatedly in the face with a sword/gun/fist. Even made my own custom theme so that is pretty drat cool too.
Just wish I could view a youtube video on this bitch

oh and gently caress all the stores around me I HAVE to order games online since 99% of the stores around me carry 8000 copies of God of War and nothing else!

Having never played a tactical strategy RPG before this game is pretty fun. I never find it too hard for too long and has some pretty basic mechanics (skill combining, +damage attacking from behind).

So I bought Generations Of Chaos since it was 6 bucks and I wanted a new game to play. Then I got to the first over world view map and was completely floored with how much of the game there is. I have never played an RPG game this detailed and have no idea where to start. The last RPG I played was Jeanne D'Arc and I still have the last 1/4 left until it is done.

Anyone have any tips for me regarding this game? I got the online mini-guide pdf but people's personal experiences would be nice too.

Well Generations of Chaos is neat as an idea but gently caress me I cannot stand the combat. Sooooooo I went to the local Gamestop and picked up Kenka Bancho: Badass Rumble. Now that game is fun as hell. Combat is a little clunky when you're surrounded by 6 guys but then I blast my eye lasers and kick some high school rear end. but gently caress finding pennants. Souvenir swords? Hell yeah! Pennants? Get hosed!

Can anyone recommend me a game of a similar style? Are most NIS games like this? I can get down with some collecting but I'm not a guy who will collect it all.

Most NIS games are quirky RPGs, but if you can handle screwing around with stats and customisation I would recommend ZHP Unlosing Ranger to everyone ever. It's a light rogue-like / dungeon crawler with a plot that begins by lampooning superhero tropes and ends as the most triumphant thing ever.

Definitely going to see if I can't grab that from Amazon. I looked through Games and saw there was a thread for it and well it sold me on it.

Corpse Party is creepy and spooky and unnerving and I love it.
Except "Big Brother, I need to go potty!" I spent like 2 hours dealing with that poo poo only to have her piss her underwear when Kazumi goes critical. Just started Chapter 5 and I swear I better learn who pissed in that bucket next to 1-A goddamnit

Also the part when Naomi dreams about Seiko and they have that little conversation before Seiko dies was all sorts of

Certain parts of the game are just so I really don't know what to do other than mourn my poor little animes

Wouldn't mind any other games like this but I assume they'd be in Japanese. I can't remember the last time a game with 0 combat kept me so enthralled. Well there was Riven but I was like 11 and it was nothing but "WHAT DOES THIS BUTTON DO WOW LOOK AT THE WHALE WEEEEEEE SKY CART!"

Corpse Party's Chapter 5's music is flat out amazing.

Also where are people talking about loving up in 5?
I have gotten to the part where I gave Naomi's ID tag back I have Yuka in my Naomi/ Satoshi's party and have successfully pulled 2 levers without anyone dieing. I know I'm forgetting something else I did but it was like 9am when I stopped playing

I feel like I finally understand how to play now or maybe I don't but I have only had I think 10 deaths? Most from the Ghost boy you encounter when you get Ayumi from here state of confusion in chapter 2 and in 4? when Ayumi jumps in the pool.

Alot of people enter the reference room before getting all 5 notes, which fucks you over. And flat out entering a bathroom with Yuka anytime in the chapter besides the one you're REQUIRED to go in fucks you over too, but a lot of people messed that up too....It's kind of obtuse, really.

Oops and I think I haven't so far oh wait yeah I did

If I quote that I'll read them with my peripheral so I'll do this instead. They will come in handy when I need to get everyone killed so I can do all the Extra Chapters.
Are the Extra Chapters just mini stories about the other kids before Kisaragi Academy got there? I did one of them but it seemed to end really early since I guess I didn't die enough

Is dying how you unlock those? I thought it had to do with nametags. Didn't unlock all of them either way.

If you're talking about EX chapter 1... Don't open the stall, and talk to the ghost that walks outdoing this makes the chapter not end right after.

I've only done about 2 EX chapters, and one of them involved a main cast member though. So I think it's a mix between mini stories and "what happened to X during Y point in the game" as well

I thought it was deaths but maybe it is nametags? I wasn't sure if nametags were just ~spooky flavor~ what with the victim's cause of death revealed in them. Not like I'm looking for all of them, some chapters have like 8 schools with 3-4 people a piece in most of them. I think I'm going to mash out the main 5 chapters then move on to the Extras where I can

Does there happen to be a name to the "la la laaa" song that plays when the AI's are around in Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker?

Edit: Damnit, I already own all of those games. (Why, yes, I like XSEED - why do you ask?)

Yeah that is how it looks on my 3000. The sprites seem just a little fuzzy but everything else is nice and crisp.

Corpse Party question.

I'm only in maybe 30 minutes, but I can't find where to go, I triple checked every class room, bone pile, candle stick, and tried to use the matches countless times. Am I playing this game wrong or something?

The last plot relevant thing was one of the girls needed to go to the bathroom, then satosashi's younger sister scream downstairs, which I've spent about an additional hour exploring, though I'm lost as to what I am looking for.

I liked what I got to play, but now it seems like I am pixel hunting.

I'm pretty sure you have to read that one newspaper on the floor by those bones in that one room who's name is escaping me at the moment :I .

So do PSP's just randomly die? I played mine last week and everything was fine 100% a-ok and I went to go play it now and well it won't turn on . I thought at first the battery died and it just needed charged but even if I plug it in with or without the battery in, it just won't turn on.

Now I will never beat the last song for Project Diva 2nd

PSP 3000 if that helps.

e: remembered I had a USB cord for it as well but no luck there either. my animeeees noooo

e2 the sequel: If you have your ac adapter plugged into an extension cord try making sure the extension cord is plugged in So don't worry people anime rhythm games are 100% safe.

BUT I STILL WON'T BE ABLE TO BEAT THAT loving SONG
