The depth of field looks so weird in those photos. Did you use a post technique or did you really nail focus on a 70-200 wide open?

When your lens is bigger than your dog, you know something isn't quite right. Maybe you could fit some wheels to the 600mm and then let your dog ride on that? Saves trying to carry the thing.

I was over at my parents house the other night and took a bunch of shots of their boxer, as well as my sister's dog. The boxer may or may not be full retard. The jury is still out. The derp dog on the right is my 10 month old border collie (the other three are my 'rents) Her face turns like this if you hold the ball too long, every single time.  playing with ball by Learnin' Curve, on Flickr baaaaalllll This is how big it was 9 months ago, incidentally the above photo is the first time the fecker has stopped still long enough to get a decent photo in 9 months.

Here are some pictures of my greyhound. Chilling at home:   I'm working on trying to get some action shots, never really do this type of photography, so it's not going as well as I'd like. Doesn't help that I can only get her to do one or two runs before she tires out.

 Just got a T2i - this is with my dad's Super-Takumar 50/1.4 manual lens. Little grainy because I wasn't paying attention and had it on auto ISO (3200,) but I love his eyes.
