When I was a kid my dad would regale me with tales of wrestlers he used to watch on tv when he was younger. Some of the things he described were so incredible, so unbelievable, that part of me never completely bought it. I'd ask friends if they ever heard of the wrestlers he listed off and they'd shrug.
