Someone cutting promos to a beat and a synth would be a cool gimmick if they could pull it off right.

Edit: This is how Zack Ryder promos should be presented.

For all those people who wonder about Rey's head-bumps, here's a close-up look (although this is more of a cheek-kiss from way back before his head bumping started).

He looks really pleased to be out interacting with the fans. I really think Rey must be a pretty cool guy.

That's just ... wow. There's something awesome and yet so utterly wrong about that. They're both clearly done, nothing left to do. Might as well have called it a draw when they both dropped their guard, neither could defend themselves and it was just a matter of who fell first.

I'm new to MMA, why did they end it there? It didn't seem like that big of a deal.

I'm no expert, but the idea is if someone goes down for any reason other than a stumble/foot slip, they're deemed as being KO'd (because they probably were).

Basically, if they didn't, their opponent would be pounding on a defenceless slab of meat for at least a few seconds otherwise.

It's why I prefer MMA to boxing - the idea of knocking your opponent down for a 10 count is barbaric when you think about it.

Oh gently caress you guys and your shovel. I hate Trips more than maybe anybody here but HHH didn't bury Ryder there. He was joking about the fact that Ryder is a jobber. And he IS, why would he be on Wrestlemania. I felt he was sincere when he said that as guys like UT and him and HBK move aside he hopes guys like Ryder will move up the card. Wrestlemania is NOT a show for jobbers who are barely on TV. HHH's first Mania was getting squashed by Warrior. There's time for Ryder.

He blatantly denied Ryder has fans or support ... in a clip nested between clips of wrestler tripping over themselves to support him. Unless the joke was that Triple H doesn't have a clue about social media, I don't think it came off as anything less than Triple H being a dick.

Zack's Youtube show is drat funny, but he's best used in little bits like that. That's how the WWE should utilize him. Just get him on TV and let him do stuff like this. Of course let him wrestle too, but the last thing that should be done is to go from no exposure to overexposure. Because then people will turn on him fast.

I'm pretty sure nobody expects him to hit the main event any time soon, but he'd make a good mid-card break act. TBH, I don't even care about his wrestling - he'd be a better "backstage personality" than anything else, or make Long Island Iced Z a mid-card interview show.

This is from the related videos, a montage of finishers from the WWF Raw PC game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qfMNznhFDQ4&feature=related

This game is almost 10 years old and the animations loving destroy the ones in SVR today. THQ and Yukes are such amateurs. Christ.

My suspicion is that they're still using the same animation engine they've used for every previous Smackdown game, and they're just upping the poly-count and rigging every year.

They really need to take a year out and rebuild the whole thing from scratch, preferably stealing a lot of the code from All Stars - the animations in that were crisp as hell. With DLC being a bigger deal, they could easily do a year-long-updates schedule while developing a new engine.

It's just an easy joke since Dana became a bit infamous for using the word "human being" a couple years ago. Which is a shame since before then he had actually worked to promote UFC to the gay demo and is pretty clearly not a homophobe. I hate to see a guy lose his job over something that was hilarious, but the potential for a worse slip really puts UFC and especially his opponent in a bad spot. Homophone or not, most people do not want someone else's genitals popping out and rubbing all over them while you are in their guard... or as they go for a triangle.

I know Dana said he won't fire him over that specifically, but it would be justified.

More importantly, nobody wants to see a dude catch an unprotected kick/elbow/punch to the exposed junk, or to get it caught somewhere on something ...
