What I usually do is export the movie as a PNG sequence, then import that sequence into Fireworks as an animation, you might be able to do this with Photoshop as well but Fireworks is so much easier for animated GIFs. Then you can just export the GIF with a preview and adjustable quality settings. I don't know why Flash just decided to be all poo poo with exporting movies in anything other than swf files. Even exporting still GIF and PNG images can gently caress up greatly for retarded reasons.

El Hadji Diouf, Electric Boogaliouf! I wish I knew how to make these smaller. I had to shave a bunch out to make it fit the 1024 Kb limit. Anyone have any hints in terms of what software to use to make these, or how to make one smaller if it has already been made into an animation? I think the smallified version is a bit choppy.

I had my doubts when T. Finn said he was going to bring this into GBS from TRP. To reiterate the praise to those submitting .gifs, this thread really is all kinds of fantastic. Having Nigel De Jong throw a karate kick on him a' la Xabi Alonso's assault in the WC final would be pretty awesome to see!
