I was hoping this would come along, the 8-bit animations kept reminding me of those games. Good work. I envisioned him trying to stop on the end of a ledge then falling to his death on the spikes below.

I just want to say that making an 8-bit version of this was inspired and I hope it becomes the norm in future Photoshop threads.

I use ImageMagick on my desktop, but you can try this, though it doesn't seem to work for me at the moment: http://reversegif.com/2651 Captain Novolin posted:Does anyone have a .gif of just Diouf without the background? I can't seem to make one without loving it up somehow. Here's the one I made for my gif, there are a few frames with the background at the end since I didn't need those:

How do you pronounce his last name? Is it Doof? Die-Oof? Do his friends call him The Hadj?

Saga posted:Karateka in a version I didn't play, unless I'm very confused. (Colours aren't Apple II I don't think.) It is the lesser known famicom version. Most Americans played this version in pirate carts. I only chose it because the style of the gif most resembles a NES sprite. If I did the Apple, Commodore, or Atari (computer) versions I'd have to trace every frame over again with wider pixels. also people who have played this game before probably get the joke. If you're not careful at the end the princess kicks you in the face. This would be a far more embarrassing ending.

AFAIK "they" are one troll and his webmaster, and dollars to donuts says neither of them knows how to watermark a GIF without breaking it. These have all been fanfuckingtastic, by the way. Another World and both Quantum Leaps are my favorites so far. (The latter QL makes more sense.)
