Bastard wouldn't give me a straight answer. I suppose we'll never know...

And then Bryan goes ahead and suggests Ultimate Fight Week, a better name than the one UFC actually went with. I still prefer WrestleMMAnia though

It totally is. The first time Bryan suggested it and was all "How do you like that?" and Dave was adamantly saying "I don't like it! At all!" was hilarious.

B&V is the only show where they have silly chat. The other shows are really more straight forward (most of the time.... the talk is at least wrestling oriented.)

Lance Storm is a great guest and has some good stories to tell. Konnan when he is on is always fun and gets along great with Bryan.

Karl Stern hosts my favorite show without Bryan in it. He talks about the history of wrestling and answers fan questions about really anything wrestling related.

Of course, there's always Big Dave Meltzer, who you either love or can't stand. He is a fountain of knowledge with all things wrestling related.

I recently started listening to the shows and it's actually Bryan I can't stand. He seems to relentlessly bitch about every aspect of the booking and go on and on about the "logical directions" storylines should go in, which often make no sense. Half the time it seems like he doesn't even watch the shows, as Dave has to correct him on what matches happened and what order the segments were in. I especially like when Dave blows off his awful wrestling or MMA opinions with a half hearted "Well....yeah." and quickly moves on. Relentless bitching about wrestling that it appears the hosts didn't watch is why I stopped listening to The LAW. Dave also hilariously no sold their awful opinions as well.

Im fine with his writing though, just can't stand him on the more news-centric shows. I'd appreciate any links to funny shows where Bryan is more enjoyable though.

On the Bryan and Vinny shows they are just Vinny's recap of Smackdown, RAW, and Impact. Bryan will only review something here if it is something out of the norm (old wrestling from On Demand or maybe some Urban Wrestling Federation PPV.)

Any show with Karl Stern or Dr. Lucha has him less of a reporter and more of a host. Bryan doesn't follow current Lucha and on the Karl shows, he just brings up topics for Karl to talk about and maybe recount his own story on a topic.

Bryan is a great radio host but he is very pessimistic regarding WWE of late. Then again, it's not just him lately.

edit: As for your request of funny Bryan... Bryan himself generally isn't funny, it's more of everything around him that is funny. Bryan was his funniest when he would rant about TNA, but now that he is currently fond of them, he doesn't rant anymore.

If you have a membership, listen to the December 21st '07 episode of B&V. It is the one where they review the infamous Christmas Impact episode.
