Satanos posted:I just wish I could hear what the voice is saying whenever somebody lies to you. I have no idea if it's revealing the truth behind the lie or if it's a generic message or what. The newest patch apparently includes a transcript of all the malkavian whispers.

Satanos posted:Does anyone have the Malkavian Whispers transcript handy? I'd like to read it but I can't get back to the computer I installed the game on for a few days. Yeah sure. quote:Ambiguous: That's all of it.

LOCUST FART HELL posted:I have the clan mod installed and I'm having this weird problem in the Chinatown hub; every so often as I make my rounds I get frozen in place for a few seconds and a pink mist overcomes me. I also seem to be losing blood at a rapid pace and looking at my character it seems as if I have some skill being used automatically at regular intervals. It's not game breaking but it's pretty annoying and it only happens in the Chinatown hub. I'm also playing as Malk if that has any relevance. Any ideas what's going on here? Check your options and make sure that you don't have your buffs set to automatically reactivate when they run out.

Killsion posted:If I remember correctly it came out shortly before Half Life 2, which was interesting because it used the Source Engine, but came out before Half Life 2, which the Source Engine was made for. Released on the same day actually. Bloodlines was finished first by a couple of months due to pressure from Activision to release a working build, which is part of why the 1.0 version is so goddamn buggy, but their contract with Valve to use the Source Engine kept them from releasing it before Half-Life 2

Rather Dashing posted:Apologies if this has been asked and/or answered earlier, but is there a mod in existence that changed the Nosferatu player character's somewhat... fringe dress sense? I'm all for representing as many different human interests as possible in media but being forced to wear gimpsuits for protection is somewhat grating when other Nos get to wear bowties I don't think so. You can change the texture easily enough, but you can't really alter the mesh, so modders options are very limited.

CommissarMega posted:And IIRC, that one Metacritic point cost Obsidian a great deal in royalty money. Yeah basically this. Black Isle's bonus for the game was tied to it getting at least an 85 on Metacritic.

Cleretic posted:...Those sewers I went through aren't The Dreaded Sewers, are they? That wasn't a problem at all once I picked the door that skipped half of it. No. it's like that, but about fifty times longer. And there's no shortcut door. And it's filled with brutally fast enemies that want to eat your skin.
