Olde Growth, that were posted earlier, are amazing.

This thread needs more Karma to Burn, however:

The new Black Pyramid is really, really great. Every time I listened to their first album, I couldn't quite get into it as every riff sounded ultra familiar. This new album is miles better.

A friend of mine introduced me to this relatively newish New Zealand band Beastwars the other day. I dig their kind of dirty sludgy stoner sound.

Is there any reason to go past "God Says No" in the Monster Magnet catalog? I've been a fan of theirs since 1992, but stopped listening after "God Says No" came out. Just wondering if it's worth giving the last 3 albums a spin.

Monolithic Baby is alright, though it does sound kind of sameish. 4-Way Diablo has a handful of decent tracks, but Mastermind is absolutely, completely forgettable in every way.

It doesn't matter if nothing sounds like this, it's glorious.

Some good Australian Stoner/Doom/Sludge bands:

Watchtower

Holy Serpent

Horsehunter

Yanomamo

Drowning Horse

Adrift for Days

Jupiter Zeus

Bonus honourary Aussies (because anything good that comes from New Zealand we claim as our own)

Beastwars

A by no means exhaustive list.

Just got home from seeing Yob and if there are any Ausgoons undecided about catching this tour, DO YOURSELVES A loving FAVOUR.

Absolutely incredible show, and Mike is such a nice guy.

Don't think I've seen any of these linked in here, but these four albums have been kicking my rear end lately. All highly worth your time!

Are any euro goons going to be at Into the Void in the Netherlands next weekend? I'm squeezing it into my holiday from Australia and can't wait, the lineup is killer!

Oh yesss!!!! This seems to be what I was looking for!

Open to any other ones anyone else has too, once robi got shut down I gave up looking since there were too many pirate only blogspots. The more places sharing underground SDS, the better!

And it'll give me a place to send my music so they can wonder why I'm combining djent and sds and give it 1/5 stars, lol.

I've discovered a lot of great poo poo like Spaceslug, Rezn and Weedpecker on the stoned meadow of doom YouTube channel. He puts out lots of underground stuff.

I'm in CT, Southwest part of state - not sure where that venue is in relation to me, but if I'm still in CT at that time, will def be there and can offer up a couch or something if needed.

Also, just discovered Somali Yacht Club.

Ukraine, Poland, and Russia have been putting out the most incredible psych stoner the past 10 years, my god.

I've been listening to Somali Yacht Club's two albums almost non-stop for months now. I saw them play a show in a basement in Krakow while I was on holiday and was hooked. As far as Ukraine bands go, I'm also really enjoying the latest Stoned Jesus album too!
