I love Lil B and all, but the fact he wrote a book that is probably bad (haven't read it, but if someone has and wants to correct me that's fine too) and gets big ups from famous rappers doesn't sell him in my book. Lil B is not a comedy act, and I can say without a trace of irony that his body of work is one of the greatest things to happen to hip hop in years. That said, I can get why people hate him. For me, there was a moment where he 'clicked' if that makes sense. My first exposure to him was the video for Ellen Degeneres, which I loudly derided (and have come to love) and somewhere around I'm Gay Lil B just started making perfect loving sense to me.

I want another album with alchemist tho He needs to slow his output from like five mixtapes a year down to three, spend the extra time polishing his lyrics (dude can put out some gems when he wants - She Don't Want A Man is probably one of the better story raps to come out in years), and keep the list of producers per album to a minimum. But hey, he obviously still has a ridiculous work ethic and probably makes more money doing it this way so more power to him. But drat, three solid albums per year with one producer per album would own. Alchemist, Ski Beatz, and um Monsta Beatz or one of those guys from a few years back.
