Wasn't Shyne supposed to release a new album this week? Is he like a jewish pop star now or what? Has anyone heard it?

Yea I just listened to two of his singles and holy poo poo are they bad. He's like a completely different person. How do you completely change your style that much? I guess I'll just throw in his first two albums and pretend he died.

I know we've agreed that new Shyne is whack, but what happened to the album that was supposedly released on May 17th? I don't think it exists. I just want to listen to it once and see if there's a single decent song on there. I can't find any info about it anywhere.

I have to say that I hate the new gibbs tape. I don't see what you guys are raving about, I honestly couldn't listen to more than 30 seconds of any song.

I never really liked his older stuff either, I should have mentioned that. I liked that one Gary, Indiana song but other than that I wasn't feeling it.

SLAMMYsosa posted:For me it's a combination of taking himself really seriously, being really bad, having worse fans and being a prick to the rappers who have to share the stage with him. I saw him at Rock the Bells two years ago in NYC and randomly after a song he went: "Ayoooo! Ayoooooooo! Look at the nearest woman to your left... Look her in the loving eyes!!!! There's a good chance that she was raped in her lifetime... Look her in the eyes!!!!! This woman to your left might have been raped in her life!! She might have never loving told anyone but she was loving RAPED!!!! How do y'all feel about that poo poo!!?!? Etc. Etc. Etc." He totally lost the crowd and more than half the fans left to find someone else to listen to. I've never seen the mood killed quicker than that in my life. It was awkward just being in hearing distance of the stage.
