This old NOE track (Byrd Gang affiliate) got me thinking, did Cam invent finishing your bars with the sample in the beat? Starting with Oh Boy, all the examples that spring to my mind are dipset related but I might just have some selection bias going on.

Jeezy dropped his new mixtape The Real is Back with DJ Drama today, haven't listened yet but I think I'm one of the few people who still thinks he can make TM103 another classic if he links up with the right producers again. And somewhat related, the new Lloyd ft Trey Songz and Jeezy is some generic radio poo poo but Polow knocked it out the park on production (where's he been lately?). She's getting hype because she is a White Female Gangster Rapper and that's enough of a gimmick to get on these days. Her flow's alright and the voice is annoying, but so is Nicki Minaj sometimes and look where that got her. Having said that, the beat rules and I would love to hear a Brick Squad remix.
