Nice, I just got spotify too. I was surprised they had Rain in England and Illusion of Grandeur on there.

Right now I've added.

Goblin - Tyler the Creator
Flockaveli - Waka Flocka
Trunk Muzik - Yelawolf
Food and Liquor - Lupe
All of Kanye's Albums
The Bake Sale - Cool Kids
Finally Famous - Big Sean

I don't know why a hated Yelawolf for a while. The whole Trunk Muzik album is pretty legit.

How is the Game going to say poo poo about creating Tyler? Their style is not even close and it not like the game makes crazy controversial music.

Yep, at least Gucci Gucci had a decent beat, this just sounds lazy as gently caress. And she jocks everyone's style, this was obviously Gucci mane inspired. She needs to stick to catchy radio friendly pop rap.

And new childish coming soon.

After listening to it again that hook is hot as poo poo.

"This is for my hoes, hoes
That wear second hand close,
who use that dollar bill to put powder in they nose"

If she got someone worth a poo poo to rap with her and cut her lines in half, she could make some okay poo poo.

I can't wait to get home to listen to Watch The Throne on my speakers and not these weak rear end headphones. As usual the production value is 60% of what makes Kanye's songs incredible.

I use to only like Sage Francis change the world hipster bullshit. Not that I don't like it now, but I don't act too snobbish for stuff that isn't like that.

Like, now the fact that the bitches/bling thing has been taken to cartoony levels by Lil B makes it ok to listen too.

It's a reaction to the music and environment. Just like Modern art's use of abstraction was a reaction to the Hyper-realism of earlier periods. It's just that next level of the music. Not long from now people will go back to lyrical Sage Francis type poo poo. I think it resonates with younger people because that's what I'm trying to do in life right now. Get hosed up, go to clubs and talk to girls. A few years ago all I would listen to was save the world bullshit. That stuff gets old quick. Ok there is injustice in the world, we get it. I'm just trying to escape from that. When I listen to B I don't have to think about most of my friends I went to college with are living at home because they can't find a real job and our economy is in the shitter. You have to lighten the gently caress up and have some fun sometimes. gently caress.

I think it's really good, puts his talent to use in a way Culdesac didn't. What are you listening to that Camp is boring? Love to hear it.

Outside, I think it must be the style of rapping he's doing. It's feels so slow to me. I was waiting for it to build up to something but it just feels like it falls flat to me. I feel the same about Letters Home. The production on all the slower songs is great, I just don't think I'm feeling the love theme. It's like the album is a couple of party songs mixed with love songs.

I was there when he did You See Me live and it went hard as gently caress. I thought the album was going to go in that direction. I probably need to give it a few more listens.

I saw Childish Gambino and Danny Brown last night. I felt bad for Danny Brown because some chuckle gently caress kept yelling "get off of the stage" during the entire act. I thought he did well and put on a good show. My wife and I were jumping around.

Childish put on a great show as usual.

Which venue? They did the same poo poo in loving Indianapolis. Danny Brown is the whole reason I went and the crowd was being a complete human being for his whole set. He was on for maybe 35 minutes. Plus they didn't have a single Danny Brown merchandise item.

I've never been to a concert where the crowd was that terrible for an artist. When I saw Childish Gambino in Nashville he had some super lovely DJ play for an hour and a half and everyone was cool.

On a lighter note, I think I'm in love with Kitty Pryde

Danny is not a good fit at all for Gambino. Most of his fans you would never see at any other rap show. The first CG show I went to in Nashville was full of rap hipsters that would have loved Danny Brown. There was like 50 loving Supreme hats at that show. But Indy was just full of regular hipsters with their girl friends. Like dudes are bumping Foster and The People in their cars type hipsters, with big horned glasses, and tight pants. They even had this "VIP" section where people just stood up on raised platforms with tables, hands in the air like it was a christian concert or something.

Danny needs to play in small venues that are packed with his fans. I bet his show would kill if it was in a place that could hold like 250 people.
