Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh this episode was good. When Tiger was calling Maverick I thought he was a dumbass for telling the big bad guy he knows what he's up to. Turns out he was a dumbass for a completely different reason. I really want to know what's gonna happen with Kaede and his grandma.

Ugh we're so close to having Tiger Cub be a thing. Please please please let Kaede fight in the next episode. I know it'll never happen since she has pretty much no idea what she's doing but still.

Pastrymancy posted:I mean next week when she has to face Maverick. Right now I'm thinking that Lunatic will be the one to kill Maverick, but I dunno. I mean, there are like 5+ other people right there that probably want to do the same thing.

SpiderHyphenMan posted:Blue Rose still has her crush on Tiger, even though she's a high school girl and he's a middle aged man and it's creepy. Dragon Kid wears a dress, even though her rejecting femininity was what made her character stand out. Barnaby gets around to visting his parents graves and he goes "Oh hey these numbers that I said didn't mean anything to me were their and my birthdays (also my birthweight). They must have really loved me! I just realized this! Again!" and the whole scene just completely fell flat. And finally, Fire Emblem gropes Rock Bison because gay stereotypes. I think Dragon Kid pretty much gave up on rejecting gender expectations in the very same episode that it was brought up as one of her things. That drat babysitting episode is just her being pressured to conform, standing up for herself, and then oh hey is that a baby I wonder who's gonna be taking care of it? *puts on hair thingy* *smiles all prettylike* I feel like they could have used that to take her character in an interesting direction but she got screwed over by not having any time on screen to do much of anything. Agreed on miss creepy crush and yet another campy gay stereotype though.
