Yeah, the awfulness of the CH adaptation has me very wary of this even if it is a different studio or team or whatever.

However since there is little indication that anyone is going to translate the VN at the moment, I guess I'd like to hear some VN readers weigh in on the overall quality of the adaptation as it goes along. Since watching the anime at this point appears to be the only way we'll get to experience the story in English.

 He never stopped because of his fear that Mayuri would "leave" or succumb to despair. IIRC there's a scene towards the end where she tells him she'll be "alright now" and doesn't need Hououin Kyouma to live on anymore.
