If you can find it, I recommend listening to the NASA Voyager Recordings - Symphonies of the Planets v.1-5 while flying around.

Runs fine on my Windows 7 machine. Are you using a motherboard graphics chip? My guess is that that has something to do with it.

loving wonderful, I quit the game at the exact moment it crashed so now the only version that worked for me (.90) just crashes on start-up as well.

I really hope there's a new version out soon.

Try changing your startup location in the user.cfg file.
