If I do a search, it may say "No has contacted this user in a week - go for it" - what does this mean? Has he/she received absolutely no emails? Is it just first contact emails? Are IMs included? However, when I go to their actual page, this same person could have "replies often" on their actual account - is this because the profile "replies often" is based on the lifetime of the account, while the search page's "replies often/replies selectively/hasn't been contacted" is weekly? I've also noticed on my own page that even if I log out, I'm recorded as being online still for about an hour. Am I signing off incorrectly? Can it just not be done in real time?

aliceamadee posted:1) It's just referring to messages, not to IMs. I believe it only counts first contact messages, not replies. The reply rate doesn't have to do with when you get messages, just if you reply to them, so if the user had replied to lots of messages before they stopped getting them, they'd still be Replies Often. Sorry, just want to make sure I understand: Ah so if the guy is the one initiating all the contact and the girls are just replying back - it would still say he hasn't been contacted? In the search results some profiles say "No one has been contacted him this week-contact him," others say "Replies often" or "Replies selectively" in search results. On the profile, "He hasn't been contacted this week-contact him" isn't an option. Is it just once you're contacted once, the "no one has contacted him this week" is replaced with the "replies often/selectively/etc" from your profile? I was just curious if there's a difference in timing because one of the options in the search results specifically mentions a weekly timeframe.
