Sickbeard isn't adding one of my series to upcoming episodes. Deleting and re-adding it doesn't help. Any easy fix to this?

Are the upcoming episodes listed in TheTVDB? If not, there's your problem. I have a few shows that aren't or weren't downloading for this reason, but I've been adding them myself when I remember to.

He acted like he was still actively working on it, and I know sickbeard devs are just waiting on him to get it finalized.

Wow. Just tried downloading SABnzbd after hearing about it for years on here, after doing everything manually for years I was pretty shocked to only find a single video file in my downloads folder after clicking the little "send nzb to SABnzbd" icon on NZBMatrix, only seconds after the file finished downloading. Now Im going to set up sickbeard. How exciting.

I remember years ago I would use RSS feeds with torrents and I thought that was good, but my private torrent site\tracker stopped supporting the RSS feed after a while. It wasn't perfect anyway since it relied on keywords which wasn't perfect. I decided to look for another solution a couple months ago (after going without one for years) thinking that I would end up doing something similar.. Sickbeard + Sabnzbd exceedeed my wildest expection. My only criticism is with TheTVDB and from what you guys are saying it looks like a solution for that is in the works too.

Jesus, this got headache inducing fast. Different programs with different api keys, two programs with two different download directorys, post processing scripts? Maybe Ill try sickbeard another time but I just spent a few hours trying to change my completed download directory with no luck.

This can be done in steps and once you have one piece working, you move onto the next. Register an account at nzb.su Install Sabnzbd. Download a file from nzb.su and try opening it in Sabnzbd just to confirm that Sabnzbd is working properly (or use a browser extension). Edit, okay I see that you have the above working okay Install Sickbeard. Add NZB.su as a search provider with the API key from your profile on NZB.su . Make sure after doing this to check the box on the list for it too as it will appear once you are done. (this is all in config > search providers) Add the API key from Sabnzbd (Config > Search settings). Add a show in Sickbeard and have it search for an episode you know exists on Usenet, see if it sends it to Sickbeard - if not, check the error logs. If you get up to here and it works, the post processing part is not too hard. What step above did you get stuck on? It's easy to get hung up, I'll agree with you on that, but it's also worth it to figure out. Let me know if you want some elaboration on any of the above points because they aren't necessarily obvious. BlackRider fucked around with this message at 01:40 on Feb 22, 2012 |

This can be done in steps and once you have one piece working, you move onto the next. Like, my issue is everything I dl is dumped into one folder. I looked at a few pages in the wiki and they told you what you should be typing in the menus and where but they didnt really explain well enough. Right now SAB is using E:/Downloads for temp space/completed downloads. I kind of assumed I would mostly want to use Sickbeard for the post processing, right? So I point SB to my completed downloads folder and this is where I think I screwed up. I then went into the SABnzbd categories menu because this is what you have to do to get SickB to "talk" to SABnzbd so it knows that the nzb is done. This is where I started using the wiki heavily. I thought entering this info would make anything downloaded to SABnzbd with the category "sickbeard" would be put in E:\_Media\_TV. It doesnt, nothing gets moved from E:\Downloads. Also when the nzb gets sent to SABnzbd the category is always set to default like so: Thats where I am now. I just cant figure out how to get the stuff I DL to automatically move to a different folder. (And Im only setting up one feed, so its not like I have too much going on here.) Sorry about the all those words, if you feel like helping out I'd appreciate it but like I said Im still pretty happy with just the one-click SABnzbd downloading for now.

Cage: Okay, I think you have everything setup, but you need to tell Sick Beard to send the NZBs to SABnzbd with the correct category. Go to Sickbeard -> Config -> Search settings. Under 'SABnzbd Category', enter the category you chose: "sickbeard". That should do it.

Actually, I think you may need to remove what you have as "Folder/Path" and leave it blank. You want this to be looking at the temp directory because this is where it's going to take the file from. That will make your setup match mine (except I don't have anything for Groups/indexer tags).

Sorry for another question, but my sickbeard still says that an episode that finished airing 20 minutes ago still hasnt aired even though the nzb is already on nzbmatrix. I have SB and SAB refresh every 10 minutes, but nothing seems to be pulling the file. Do I have to wait for SB to change from "unaired"?

Alright, so if you want to watch the episode very shortly after airing you just have to get the nzb yourself? No problem, any idea on how often it updates just for future reference?

Did it list the correct air date yesterday? Sickbeard updates the next-air date for all shows every day at 3AM. edit: Also sickbeard continually monitors the RSS feed for nzbmatrix and wherever. When the show shows up it will download it no matter what the next-air date is. Thermopyle fucked around with this message at 05:33 on Feb 22, 2012 |

It should grab stuff pretty automatically. It searches every 60 minutes or something, so there some lag time. You can force an immediate search for a specific episode by clicking on the magnifying glass looking thing. Shows still show up as unaired because it only works on the air date of an episode. Something that was on at 8PM will switched off "unaired" at the same time as something that aired at 11AM.

I'm having an issue with nzbdstatus and nzbmatrix where (for recent additions to the site) when I click the nzb icon I get this error: URL Fetching failed; (Problem accessing nzbmatrix server (error:no_nzb_found)), But if I download the nzb directly I get no issues. Is there a fix for this?

Cage posted:I tried forcing the "daily episode search" on SB, along with trying that little magnifying glass - clicking that just made it turn into a red X after 10 seconds. No, it's a feed from Sickbeard. Are you using the Sickbeard indexer? (hint, you should be). I know for sure that uses RSS, and NZBmatrix provider might. But what's happening is every 60 minutes Sickbeard reads the RSS feed and gets the most recent nzbs, and if one of them matches an upcoming show, it grabs it. This works well for a few shows that air a day earlier in Canada than they do in the US. You can click the "View Log" link in the "Logs & Errors" menu to see exactly what's going on. Setting the minimum logging level there to Info should be good enough, buty if you really want to see what's going on switch to Debug.

Horseshit! My cable provider wants to start capping usage. They start charging next month if I go over 150 gb in a month. I used 132 gb last WEEK. We use sickbeard and a lot of usenet. Sue me, Wait, don't. What should I do if I live in an area with them as basically my only option (dsl sucks)?

I had DSL and it was great, then I moved and it was terrible. Luckily, when it was crap I cancelled and paid nothing. DSL speed declines with distance from the central office you connect to. If you're within a mile of a CO on DSLReports, you could get decent speeds going with that provider.

Is there a way to fully sync sickbeard with thetvdb? They changed a series completely and now sickbeard thinks the specials are there when they are not. I deleted and re-added the series but this still listed episodes no longer on the thetvdb page. Also comcast offers business class internet with no caps. Its about the same price as regular internet AFAIK, the only added cost is they have you sign a 1 or 2 year agreement and the install fee is $100 or so I think.

Also, I've easily 2TB+ in a month on Comcast and never heard a word.

Yeah I haven't switched yet since I got one call in 2009 and they said if they called again within 6 months it would be a problem but after that its fine. They implied that I should pause my downloads during peak times which is fine.

Yeah, Comcast's cap isn't enforced in my area either. I have gone over many consecutive months and they do not care. It depends on whether you're actually causing harm to your neighbors by eating too much bandwidth... if you are on a congested node (a highly populated area, most likely) then they will start to take notice. Otherwise, they seem to let you go pretty free... By the way, anyone else here have ngroups and been having major issues with completion as of late?

I got this in the mail from Comcast today and was wondering if it was just marketing spam or if they were being passive aggressive about upgrading my business account tier.
