I'm headed to Verizon territory and will be picking up an iPhone 6 64gb phone. What is the consensus on edge vs the 2 year contract plan?

Depends on your data plan, edge is likely better if you have 6 GB or more.

10 or more my current plan says I am burning 30 gig month but I don't see how. Will pick up a iPhone 6 or maybe a plus once I check out the size in the store

Considering the plans and my intention to roll over to Verizon should i roll over now or after the new plans come into effect? I will be looking to roll into a iPhone 6 and a 6GB plan.

I will continue to buy ridiculously over priced phones. But I would like a data an that can support my usage.

Definitely cannot wait for the new plans or new phones thanks to a move to a new region.

Now if I understand it correctly I can swap to the new 6gb plan at any time. But will Verizon take my iPhone 6 in trade towards the newer iPhone 6s in September or October?

I'm currently on a 4 person family plan (Nationwide Talk&Text 1400) with 3 smartphones and one feature phone. Our bill currently comes out to $242.39 ($225.45 + $16.94 fees/taxes).

Account charges and credits: $83.50 (includes 15% discount)
Line 1: $52.22 ($47.99 + $4.23 fees)
Line 2: $54.22 ($49.99 + $4.23 fees)
Line 3: $38.22 ($33.98 + $4.24 fees)
Line 4: $14.23 ($9.99 + 4.24 fees)

Lines 1 and 2 each have Verizon Max 6GB data, and my line (line 3) has unlimited data. Lines 1 and 2 also have insurance ($8 and $10).

Our contracts are up in November, are there any changes we can do to help lower the bill? Lines 1 and 2 use maybe 2 GB combined data, but I fluctuate anywhere between 10-30GB each month. If we could get some kind of shared 20GB+ data pool, I could probably lower my data usage.

Verizon has a new 18 gig plan for $100 a month.
