Set this up at work just to see if I could. I'll probably dump monitors 2 and 4, they suck and the whole setup is far too wide. Good conversation starter, though.

There's theoretical support for a sixth monitor, but I've run out of desk. Considering just putting one up facing my colleague on the other side, as it would make showing him funny youtube clips much easier.

You're welcome.

Those of you using large televisions as monitors, no further away than you would use a normal monitor - doesn't the low dot pitch and sheer gigantic-ness of the screen fatigue the poo poo out of you? 1080P seems just right for a 24-26" monitor at normal distances... any bigger would look lovely. And as for gaming in 1080P from two feet away... eeech.

I'll upload some copies when I get home, the one I'm using atm is actually cut up so that the middle is at the right side etc because of my monitor configuration.

It's just made from tron wallpapers on google images if you want to have a go at it yourself but I'll put mine up anyway.

The Acer desktop doesn't see much use lately, I have the keyboard and mouse tucked away below the monitor.

I've never understood the multiple monitors. I've had two set up in the past and it just got annoying. To each there own I suppose.

Here is my current setup. We are living in a very small space while we are in the process of buying a home so I've got everything crammed on what is usually our general use living room desk. Sorry for the horrible pic, camera battery is dead.

Fair enough. For headphone storage I use banana hangers (you can by fancy ones on Amazon). I take pride in my nice headphones though and like to show them off, so I keep them out in the open.

For cord management I screwed a cord box into the back of my desk. IKEA used to sell it but it's gone from their website. It's basically a big plastic box with holes in the top for cords to pass through. Basically I have two power strips and a USB hub placed in there; the power strips have short leads running to an outlet directly below the cord box. Everything on my desk runs into the box through the holes. To prevent having a rat's nest fire hazard, I keep the cords organized within the box via double-sided velcro. I'm also careful to run the cords into the box in a nice "order" so they appear thoughtfully organized and not just slapped into the holes.

The easiest way to prevent clutter management is... don't have clutter. I got into the minimalist thing and threw out/donated most of my belongings. The things I do keep around serve multiple purposes and are usually a little expensive. It's also helpful to get into a routine of cleaning your area daily and not eating at your desk.
