JetsGuy posted:The SG wiki has Todd listed with the name "Guide". I have no recollection of him ever saying his name ever, where the hell is this coming from? From their talk page it seems to be from one of those awful fan-fiction-style books. So his name is Todd.

Eikre posted:I think Lorne is really neat, a triumph of a minor character. I really like the parts where, say, in an alternate-reality episode where they do a montage of events after Shepherd goes missing and Lorne happens to be on the primary expedition team, standing in the background, being the understated and stoic force of personality he is. It really was awful. They just hosed around with everything that SG-1 and Atlantis had both previously set up over several years so that they could have Atlantis back on Earth. Chair weapon? Blown up. Multiple battleships that are definitely more powerful than Atlantis? Disabled. Need a dramatic way to finish act three? Magic wormhole drive!

Eikre posted:In one of the episodes with the Daniel's Unas buddy, there was a slaver who purportedly achieved a result using the brute force method, wasn't there? That might be it, but I seem to recall that they had the address to the Unas planet (P3X-666) from their former masters. I remember him saying he tried several combinations and couldn't get them to work, possibly referring to him thinking the gate only went to that one planet.

Der Luftwaffle posted:I always wondered what the scale of that model was, because the detail made it look pretty drat big. I remember seeing a "making of" video back when it first aired. The model was about 5 feet tall from what I recall.

Der Luftwaffle posted:I can't even remember what the dragon thing was all about, maybe because it was so retarded. Wasn't it something like a guardian for the magical Ori-killing thing but turned out to just be a hologram and the macguffin turned out to be fake? It was fake, but it then lead them to find Merlin who it turned out was a) still alive and b) had never finished making the thing in the first place. Then he got into Daniel.
