Sephiroth did lots of squats in SOLDIER college and got really buff, and Cloud didn't, so Sephiroth could use that sword and Cloud tried but he probably fell on his rear end and almost amputated his hand off.

Every asset behind those backgrounds was deleted long ago. What you'd be left with is crisp models in front of really grainy, pixelated backgrounds that never ever fit.
