Anime is a cheaper, indie, and amazing way to make a creative series or movie. It's not just the redundant pokemon garbage on JTV. Anime is Manga and shows like Excel Saga (which is freakin hilarious) Saiyuki (which is a great philosophical show packed with action) and movies like Akira (which is one of my favorite movies period). Since Japan is racially homogenous they don't need to mix social values for other audiences. We do which kills our shows. In Japan everybody is up to date on the same issues, so they don't have to hold back intelligent content. They can present the action and not have it overide the intelligence or the story of the anime.

This is the same for the video games too. Except American video gamers are consumed by the violence because our culture is adapted to so many different kinds of people American TV advertiseses games by the violence and not by the other epic proportions. It's funny how the tv ads always show the black people playing the blood gut and kill games, as well as the sports games isn't it.

In summary, Japan is an example that we need to follow, and the entertainment an art from their is great. DON'T CALL ME A RACE TRAITOR OR THE'RE GOING TO BE PROBLEMS!!!
