What the hell is going on with Mayuri's zanpakuto in this chapter? Both it and the scabbard are... have they been like that since the timeskip or is this the first time we've actually seen him with it since he changed appearances? The scabbard is like a patchwork sleeve.

I seriously don't think there's one for every letter of the alphabet. Not every character is being announced as a Sternritter. By the way, if anyone is wondering, Unohana's line about the tenth division is a mistranslation. Hitsugaya's Bankai was stolen as well, not just the others. I always try to read at least 2 translations now to hopefully avoid stuff like this.

It should be noted that the German alphabet has more than the 26 letters of the English alphabet. So more Sternritter for everyone! The most powerfull one is either going to be ß or Ä. Or even more likely Kubo doesn't know/care.
