The term Bleach is used for bleaching the slate clean and writing a new cast/training arc/set of rules for each arc as that is far easier then planning out an actual storyline.

It began pretty cool and hip, and it didn't rail on enormous multi-year rescue arcs punctuated by training. Just like Zombie Powder. This in mind, I wonder if all of those of us who look back fondly at Zombie Powder might not feel the same way had Zombie Powder continued. After all, who's to say that Zombie Powder might not have also derailed into endless rescue arcs as well? In fact, I am pretty sure it would've!

I'm not sure I'd really want him taken completely out of the writing loop because he has had some good writing ideas over the years. He's definitely come up with some great settings and character profiles at the very least. The dialogue and what have you is at least up to par for shonen, it's just plotting he needs to work on I think.

Tite is a great world builder and character designer, he just sucks at the actual plot. He needs 2/3 of a writer to help him out, basically. Also the Bleach databooks are all awesome.

They'd never cancel Bleach but you can bet Tite's editors are telling him to wrap this training arc up and move the story along.

Bleach is really slow at moving the story and its only tolerable because of the art. It doesn't suck and Kubo doesn't beat around the bush but that means there are not any interesting backgrounds to look at. Either way the comic isn't that exciting and I'd rater beat off to random doujs at the moment.
