Yes, the only reason poor people aren't rich is because they aren't willing to work 14 to 16 hours a day.

Given how well Rick Perry's prayer for rain worked this year, it sounds like the One is saying, "gently caress you, Rick Perry."

Here's the best I've got for now, a dude is unhappy that the freeway running parallel to casino row has diamond lanes. It's a federal conspiracy and ruining perfectly good pavement that could make more room for cars with a single driver!

Any time I read an editorial or comment insulting liberal arts majors, while simultaneously praising STEM majors, while endowing STEM majors with skills they don't necessarily have, I always think the person is projecting outward their own insecurities about their own intelligence. Not only that, but he's praising STEM majors because they can transfer their skills into consulting and investment banking.

During the 08 election ACORN did their job of collecting voter registration cards. Under federal law they can never, at any point, refuse, destroy, or demand alterations to the cards because that's disenfranchisement.

While doing this, some people made a joke of putting Donald Duck or the like as their info.

People working for ACORN were paid based on the number of registration forms they returned, which is why some obviously fake forms were collected. ACORN turned them in as required by law. No actual fake voters were registered. Somehow we never hear about how the Republican equivalent to ACORN actually committed voter registration fraud, which is the reason for the laws existing in the first place. The Republicans were registering voters, and tossing out the forms of the people who were registering as Democrats.

Holy poo poo, that's horrifying.

I think this person has been unhinged for a long time.

quote:

Open letter to Obama

Mr. Obama, not in the history of the United States has a president openly condoned and advocated fornication for our young people at the paying taxpayers' expense.

Truly you are neither a Christian nor a Moslem. Your beliefs are simply amoral and/or based on "which group can garner the most votes for me."

You continue to divide us: Rich vs. Poor ... Black vs. White ... Democrat vs. Republican ... Young vs. Old (units over 70) ... Union vs. Non-union ... Big Government vs. Limited Government.

A president is like a shepherd who cares about his flock and tries to keep them together. I view your philosophy as "divide, conquer and blame." How long do you think this will last??????????

Haha, here's another one from that website:

quote:

Obama's America hurts its citizens

I just learned from my son, who is in the U.S. Army, that military tuition assistance for education has been halted. I learned a couple of days ago that the White House is closed to tourists in spite of personal offers to cover the cost. I learned a while back that Obama assigned some $716 billion from Medicare to cover the cost of Obamacare. I believe Medicare is mainly for seniors, and Obamacare burdens working Americans with more out-of-pocket costs.

I also heard recently that some consideration is being given to charging wounded veterans for their medical care. Of course there is that thing of abortion that deprives youngsters of baby siblings to play with, and that thing of no middle class sounds Obamaish.

Releasing criminal illegal aliens into the wild with false pretense threatens homeland security. The Republicans didn't do that, did they? Again I offer the story about the man and the shotgun: The shotgun won't go off half cocked.

Repostin' this because it makes me giggle every time:

In 1964 he graduated from the Judson School, a boarding school outside of Scottsdale, Arizona. At his high school graduation, Ronald Reagan introduced himself to his son by saying, "My name is Ronald Reagan. What's yours?" He replied, "I'm your son Mike." "Oh," said Ronald Reagan. "I didn't recognize you."
