kittentits posted:Oh, I'd love for someone willing to guide me a bit to add me. (I don't even know if there are any other EUNE goons out there, sadly I'm not on the US servers.) I'm in desperate need and kind of touchy about everyone being better than me in my, uhm, very elite level 11 games. My summoner name is the same as my forums nick and I have a hard time listening to smart advice. I'm pretty new too, but since the goonlol community seems to be massively NA, then a bit of EUW I took the liberty to fire up a #eunegoons IRC-Channel (just now).

Tier 1 runes are super cheap so do get one basic AD page and one mage page - they can even share the same yellow, blues and quints.

Heavy Lobster posted:So, I'm very particular about my assassin-style characters. Kassadin seemed interesting to me but was too much about trickery than about doing insane damage; Kat was hardly an assassin, but her damage output was rad; Akali sounds perfect but she rarely goes free and I'm saving IP for Christmas runes; Nocturne is on sale this week and I'm seriously considering buying him, as I have the RP for it and he seems right up my alley. I think you want Talon. He does insane burst, and once youve dropped your full combo on someone you have a couple of seconds of stealth to evaluate whether you want to finish them up or back off. I havent played as nocturne, but playing against him he seems really subpar in lane.

I'm a level 30 eurogoon who is seriously bad (<900 Elo), I've a smurf account: Spiro on the NA server and would be happy to play with other bad/new players.

PROTOSTORM!!! posted:For example, as Nasus I was just making GBS threads on this kog maw, dude was getting wrecked. Jayce was running in at high speed through his stupid gate to come help. I was at 80% while kog was about to bite it. Jayce still feels the need to assist and runs in and takes one shot loving takes the kill. 98% damage me, 2% from jayce shooting an auto. If it was 1v1 before that him "stealing" the kill got more gold for your team than you solokilling him would have. "Killstealing" is not a real thing ever, no not even in some people's theoretical AD/support scenario or blowing ults. It may occasionally be suboptimal play but it is never "stealing". "KS" was made up by retarded people who dont understand that it's a team game.
