We have plenty of non-venomous things that can disembowel you instead. Look at those claws on a sloth, they'd be perfect.

The fangs on a funnel web do both!

Surprisingly aesthetic.

Some pretty cool photos of insects/animals on this blog. Especially like praying mantii for some reason, they're always a favorite.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if the myth of gremlins originated from them. Long-fingered, bug-eyed, little monsters.

Not to derail, but there are beliefs in Madagascar that if an aye-aye points at you with their longer finger, you die. It's actually contributed to their becoming endangered.

But I love them, anyways, even if they are kind of gross:

And here's a more conventionally cute little critter

I had a micrathena in the treeline by my house, and it took me a while to figure out it was one creature and not a spider eating something. Beautiful.

On the subject of bunny floof vs mass, Angora rabbits look gargantuan, but when you pick them up it's like there's nothing there. They get sheared like sheep

My parents adopted a cat with severely under developed hind legs, who has taken to just climbing furniture she can't jump to.

The best thing is watching her wrestle the other cats. Her front legs are so strong from pulling herself around that she tends to win against much bigger cats. I wish I got back home more often to hang out with them.

These guys look awesome when done up like this at a show. They spend the months growing out their wool perpetually wearing hair rollers to protect the quality of the floof.

There was also baby dingoes, baby kangaroo, baby reptiles that you can see at a hatchery, baby geese etc...

It's a Green Vine Snake. Indigenous to Central and South America.
They are not venomous but their saliva is toxic.
