Shout Factory does it again A special two-disc edition of Manos is on the way! quote:you'll get the classic MST3K episode, AND the original Manos feature film as well. Plus retailers have been informed of all sorts of bonus material, naturally, including a brand-new making-of documentary: "Interviews with Joel, Frank, Mary Jo and Trace; MST3K short 'Hired!' Parts 1 and 2 (together for the first time), Mystery Science Theater Hour wraps, brand-new 'Jam Handy and You!' featurette, 'Hotel Torgo' (30-min. making-of doc.)".

The Torgo theme always sounds to me like it's going somewhere. But in the end it just locks the listener into the undying expectation of something to happen while nothing does. Kind of like the movie.

Likewise here, and I seem to recall Kevin Murphy saying much the same thing; he always enjoyed the 1970s stuff they did because it brought him back to his mid-to-late teens, watching TV in a wood-paneled room while his dad was snoring comfortably in the recliner.

A really strange thing about Riding with Death is the backstory database which talks about how Ben Murphy's character went to Harvard. Despite the episodes, I mean movie, portraying the character as kind of a lunkhead.
