the party god posted:What's up, former Complaints forum buddy FlyinPingu Sorry for bringing up discussions from the first pages, but ugh, so much this! ![]() I recently got involved with the Complaints forum back about a year or two ago. A lot of people in there I thought were cool and I legitimately liked posting on there, but the Nazis just left a sour taste in my mouth. At first I tried to ignore them, but it became impossible because they would post a buncha hateful rhetoric in just about every thread or comment, and any post which involved in some way a minority (particularly blacks) turned into something that looked like the logs of a Klan meet with tons of eager Complainers joining right on in. When someone compared it to "Stormfront 2.0", they were not joking. I don't know what was more sickening: the fact that Complaints was Stormfront or the fact that if you had anything to say about it, YOU were the one who got flamed. I left that shithole. Alright, hopefully next time I'll have a picture to contribute. I got a whole lotta laughs out of this thread!

Luck?![]() Luck has nothing to do with this. Along the way I found this guy, who seems to be pulling some kind of scam, this girl, who seems to believe that switching up the color scheme and changing the hair constitutes fanart of a new character, and I'm not even sure what that last one is, I can't bring myself to fully investigate.

I don't even mind there being lovely art on DA, after all, it gives me something to laugh at. But there's a distinction between lovely art and straight up junk, and that junk is what often makes DA hard to sift through. Terrible phone pics of peoples wacky friends, paintbucket template recolors and then this garbage printscreen poo poo is just painful.

Their eyes grew, so they are constantly dazzled now.

I went in with the explicit intention of ruining my childhood. One fond memory I have is watching lake freighters in the Welland Canal with my family. Somehow, DeviantArt managed to sexualize a lake freighter. Not just any one, mind you. Deviant "carsdude" (sorry, don't know how to make a word into a link) selected the Edmund Fitzgerald, which sank with her entire crew in 1975. Gordon Lightfoot wrote a song about the disaster.
