I laughed at them ordering a pizza to the pizzeria they were at.

Also Zoidberg owns.

I for one hope the episode stays censored on DVD.

They did a scene on the Simpsons where Homer "swears", and they kept it censored on the DVD, so yea I hope they do it again. I think the great thing was the unexpectedness of it all, but it'd be a downer if they actually went all the way with the swearing.

Overall I loved the episode, and it felt fairly classic.

At the same time though, actually hearing Billy say "JOHN loving ZOIDBERG" in the voice would all kinds of awesome.

Awesome.

Awesome to
the MAX.

I can't believe I'm saying this -- I loving LOVED that episode. I don't have a single complaint. That felt straight up old-school futurama to me. This is my favorite episode of the new run, by FAR. And I mean we've had some good ones like the time machine and robosexual marriage one. Everyone felt like their characters were dead on, except maybe Zoidberg who stood out in a great way.

I know I'm gushing but I seriously never expected the new run to produce anything this great.

Yeah I really liked this episode too. Had some great moments.

But then again I've actually enjoyed this whole new season so far aside from the cat and Eyephone episodes, and even those had their moments.

Don't get me wrong, I've been enjoying most of season six as well, I just felt like there was a marked difference between s1-4 and s6. The new episodes were mostly all good, but I never felt like they had the same "feel" as the original run which kind of hurt them in a way. This episode had that feel, and managed to take me back to the original run very easily. I'm probably not articulating this correctly what with being almost 4am, but I really felt so strongly about it that i had to go post about it on the Internet instead of going to bed

Futurama trying to push the envelope was surprisingly much more enjoyable than I thought it'd be. Goddamn, that episode was hilarious.

edit: Although that's not the first time they've pushed the envelope. They did have Amy in bondage gear at the beginning of the season, after all. But you know what I mean.

After the last 4 episodes, I was afraid this show was past its prime and would never be funny again. God drat it's good to be wrong.

That was easily the best episode this half of the season, if not the whole season. The writing just seemed so much better, especially Bender's. Leela's lines are still completely pointless though...

Brilliant episode, the Zoidberg/Clamps fight is a definite highlight with Clamps falling into the hardware store and getting covered in clamps and Zoidberg falling into the trough and getting covered in lobsters. A .gif needs to be made of the bit where Zoidberg charges at Clamps and the background changes to pink/purple streaks.

Bender was about to cut the pizza before remembing that Zoidberg's the only one who does cutting around here!

And it turned out that Bender was at the pizzeria all along and the robot who got killed on the moon wasn't him, but who cares about that?

Looking at the one-line summaries, upcoming episodes definitely seem less Bender-centric.

This was a good episode, but I'm getting kind of tired of the main characters being threatened by death every other episode. Maybe this has been a thing on Futurama for a while now and I just haven't noticed it, but I find it exhausting to raise those kinds of stakes this often.

Between this and the ugly dude whose only crime was being insulted into a frenzy by the main cast, this season has been awfully heavy on the collateral damage.
