ugh, I started reading this, got about 1/3 the way in, characters keep popping in every chapter with the time skips and i'm bored to tears with it. i'm basically at where they introduce the space traders before i started reading "Robots of Dawn" which i'm much happier with.

should i finish foundation? does it get any better from there and do they actually establish some drat protagonists??

i'm confident in roland emmerich

2012 was a stupid plot but like 90% of the movie you can call "well made" and seeing as we already know the plot of foundation is sound and well written

http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/escape-to-the-movies/1088-2012

watch this if you need proof emmerich is a good film director

Pretty clearly not the same ship, although certainly of the same race.

From the fact that the trailer has a shot of the Space Jockey ship crashing, I'm actually wondering if the (cave?) we see with the head/urns is not actually in the ship, but on the planet, and that is what the Prometheus is actually there to find. Something then happens which draws the Space Jockey there, and the ship crashes (almost the opposite plot of Alien?)

sg1 is for people who don't want to take ther'e sci fi too seriously, but still want to enjoy the technifiction aspects and some nice buzzwords thrown around like superconductor and event horizon matter stream

star trek as a whole is only good like 20% of the time, voyager, most of TNG, most early DS9 and all but like a couple of movies were NEIGH good

and those who say sg1 is softcore porn i didn't know this please tell me which episodes so i may watch them
