did anyone ever watch the earthworm jim cartoon as a kid? that show fuckin owned.

the earthworm jim where the plot revolved around how dogs had once committed a great sin and as such dog hell had been created and vacuums were all independent portals to dog hell which is why dogs were both terrified of them and ashamed of their terror

man

aside from maybe the very very old popeye cartoons (the ones old enough where he is muttering vile nasty murderous swear-filled death threats about people constantly), that poo poo is the absolute height of animated hilarity ever

geraldo ricky ricardo martinez cant write for poo poo

his story is p good though

so you can read it once and get all annoyed at the wrong places and hate on it, usually in the middle of "the worth of half a groat"

but if you go back and read it again later it's not bad

it's not great either, but that's mostly because of all the chaff, and it's been decades since anyone wrote anything even near "ok" epic fantasy so w/e
