I keep hearing rumors that The Avengers is going to hint at cosmic level events that will basically blow the doors wide open for Marvel Studios to do stuff like Guardians of the Galaxy, Captain Marvel, and Nova. And honestly I think expanding to cosmic level characters is going to be a cash sink. I have never heard of any of these characters, and I'm sure the average person hasn't either. At least people have heard of Iron Man or Captain America through cultural osmosis.
