Disappointment to a noble soul is what cold water is to burning metal; it strengthens, tempers, intensifies, but never destroys it.

Gonzo McFee posted:

So on the edited show they decided to keep the bald guy dropping his shoe twice instead of a stock "Oh no" reaction shot?

That gif is actually an edited version. On the show, Kurt spent about 30 seconds fumbling about, trying to take off both his shoes and hitting Crimson with them, with only moderate success.

Because you can just imagine standing up in front of a Power Point presentation in a company boardroom and having your face kicked off after regrettably informing those present that profits were down this quarter.

What I'm saying is Vince needs Sheamus around when he has those shareholder conferences.

This is the first thing I thought about. I've stood next to Conan and he is a giant, and Sheamus makes him look small.

Only from that perspective. When they stood directly next to each other, they were about even. Conan might've been slightly taller.

Zeke removing bag over head next to Ted and subsequent wrecking of Dibase. Possibly just the throw or a slam or something.

Henry taking Curtis like a rag doll and just destroying him while Sheamus watches. Or anything with Henry destroying Curtis.

Thanks!

Kevin Steen wrestles the best hoss style. Reminds me of Samoa Joe in the "gently caress you, you're going over there" style of tossing flippys.

Why are all the best big man wrestlers just fat guys who are surprisingly quick and strong?

Yeah, but guys who should be having an easy go of it like Mayson Ryan and David Otunga who look built to the gills move like suicidal porcupines gently caress. Just think of all the little indie guys who could be WWE main eventers if they had the hight and bodies that put on muscle.

Unfortunately, Hector didn't really do anything notable, except for looking eerily like Eddie probably would have in a few years.

I think at the moment of impact, you let your legs buckle, and soften the impact. I think the only reason lowki's stomps look so vicious sometimes is because he weighs about 40 pounds, and can really plant it.

Dear Devon and Bully,

Please teach Hogan and Flair how to properly swing a chair. It seems that unless you came from ECW or made the TLC match famous your chair shot ability is severely weak.

And he could still actually move back then, so it's doubly awesome. That's some proper jobber killing, right here.

Mr. Carlisle
Jul 14, 2007

Jobbers back then were the real heroes of wrestling. The amount of punishment those guys took and the fact that the stars didn't seem to give a poo poo if they broke them or not just made some of those matches almost hard to watch.

I think they somehow took the DNA of every jobber from that era and injected Heath Slater with it during another one of Vince's mad experiments.
