it takes way too long to get to level 20

Haha, I was running around with a train of 25-30 people tonight. Pretty fun watching your exp bar climb like crazy. Think I went from level 15-20 in about 2 minutes.

I can see it being really grindy so I'm not going to stress much about maxing out a character's stats or min/maxing. Just fun little game to take a break and unlock some achievements once in a while.

We should plan a goon train soon.

I've only played a couple days, but either save it or trade and save the gear. Don't be too tempted to put your good stuff on a lowbie character that will more than likely die. Keep saving up until you can rock your gear.

This game. Storming the Oryx's Lair is some serious Keystone Kops stuff. I'll grant that it is rather funny to see level 20's dropping left and right, but I'd actually like to see Oryx once or twice.

Play a priest or paladin and try to keep the dumb fucks alive. Best advice I can offer vv

I have an AHK script that teleports me out when my HP bar is below a threshold.

Do you mind sharing? I wish I were better at making scripts. All the ones I've created are hackneyed autoloot hotkeys using a mouse recorder. Not very pretty but much faster than clicking on pixels.

Wasn't paying attention to my life during Oryx. I honestly don't know how I got so low.

How did you have a first-born wizard last so long? Is that a new account or something?

I've seen this mentioned a number of times in the thread but I don't think it's been explained. How do you get scammed if you go first?

Edit: Oh, I thought it meant there was a exploit where a trade could be canceled somehow to benefit the person trading first.

Unless O2 was nerfed, I've know I've seen a video of Itani going through WC and someone in party getting 3 tops at once.

The game content itself shouldn't be locked behind a grind, though. You shouldn't need to kill 100+ dungeon bosses for a shot at an incantation, and shouldn't have to kill sphinxes for a 10% chance to even be able to take a shot at tomb.

Content that lies behind horrible grinds with low spawn/drop rates is used intentionally to make the end game last longer. It's a lovely tactic that's been used in many MMOs and won't be going away any time soon.

The culprit of this egregious freeze of input was a loving hardware survey.

Thanks, Steam.

It's been mentioned before, but seriously don't play on the steam version. Browser version is a much smoother experience. I wanted to get the shiny achievements on steam too but it's a really lovely port.
