My copy arrived in Alaska a couple of days ago, too. It's really great looking; much better in print than on the screen for some reason.

I'm sorry about the dings. I'm using a lot more tape to reinforce the edges now. I can't believe it's been two years since I posted the thread. You guys have been really encouraging and awesome in every way. I think it's about time I start working on the new story. Oh, and the finnish version has won yet another award, the Golden Award in the Best of the Year competition hosted by Grafia ry, the association for design and illustration in Finland.

So amazing! Congrats! I showed my copy to my mom and we just flipped through it and now she is considering buying her own copy since it's a "pretty cool book."

I never got how two sleek predator-looking birds could create a fat cute prey bird.

Mr klaivu, I was sat in on a training course today at my University (Warwick University in the UK) and one of the ladies there was discussing crowd funding as it's something she's researching. I mentioned to her during conversation that I'd put some cash towards your wonderful book and she was intrigued when she found out it was successful, to such a point where she asked me if I could ask if you'd be cool with her getting in contact to find out about how you went about it all. Is this something you'd be down with doing at all? She seemed pretty keen and thrust her business card at me with some force.

Finally got my copy of the book yesterday (suburbs of Chicago)! It's awesome. I showed it to a couple other people, and we all agree that it's gorgeous. Nice job, klaivu!

I got my book a few weeks ago and I must say that I am VERY impressed! There were some dings, but I was able to smooth them out. You have an amazing talent and I wish you much success!

Wanted to chime in with the fact I got my book yesterday. As mentioned some slight dinging in the edges but honestly that sort of thing doesn't bother me. I can't wait to read it.
