Donovan will get them into the top 6, just like old times

Also, yes, we need video of Howard scoring (although, hell, it'll probably be replayed in Sportscenter's Top 10 Plays all night)

We still need to cap tie him. He better not sign with a Greek club.

No mention of a loan. Are there rumors as to where Gonzalez may be going?

Also: This seems like not the time for this. Maybe he feels like he can prove himself indispensable if he impresses over in Europe or something.

I just don't want this to mean he's trying to avoid getting cap-locked to the US. I will die a little if he ever dresses for Mexico.

Also, January camp, being non-FIFA dates, technically don't cap-tie you anyway.

According to Seltzer, George John is transferring... somewhere, but not anywhere that we would expect. Another article (I think it was SB Nation) said that the club was English.

Jermaine Jones has been pulled into January camp, which would be a lot more interesting if it weren't that the only reason he's available is that he's on an 8 game suspension from the day job for hurting a dude.

The best part about this is that Freddy Adu is playing for the U-23s because he's not good enough for January scrub camp and is amazingly still eligible to play for the U-23s.

I watched Landon Donovan thread one of the most beautiful passes I've ever seen to Anichebe for a goal and the commentators didn't acknowledge his pass AT ALL. Not even in the replays a few minutes after the goal.

There's a video of it at http://www.soccerbyives.net/soccer_...ties-villa.html

That game made me very sad for a huge portion of it, but this, and the the run he made where he overtook two defenders to fire a cross straight to Saha (which sadly led to nothing) really made my morning.
