Excellent OP! Looking forward to done quick.

I'm kinda psyched for the TJ+E games to get run. It seems like they would be ripe for TAS but I haven't seen it.

I'm interested in watching it too, but mostly because there's just SO MUCH that can go wrong. The bloopers video for the SDA run is hilarious.

I know, it's ridiculous how difficult it is to perfect it.

Pretty psyched (again) about TJ+E, and it's definitely what I'm most looking forward to on the dogathon. Should be amazing, and also painfully, painfully difficult.

If you're going to do the fixed version of Toejam and Earl why even bother ?

Also Portal 2 is probably going to be awesome.

TJ+E is already incredibly, incredibly cruel on fixed. It's a very hard game to run. Random would be a)insane and b)impossible to plan ahead for by it's very essence.

Hahah, nero just wandered into sig's chat and announced he just got 1:47:50, pushing sig's target time down by over 30 seconds.

What do you think the absolute lower bound on 120stars is? The TAS is 1:39:02, but I don't know how much of that can be reproduced by just humans.

Do you think something like 1:45:00 could ever happen?

Is there a link to the updated schedule? I want to see how everyone did.

I went to the library earlier today. I walked past a bank of computers and realized there was a nine year old girl watching a TAS of Super Mario 64.

That's heartwarming.

More CV3 Grant runs.

I literally turned it on for the first time ever, he broke his Grant record.

Pretty cool.

Well it's a new record I guess, but that could have been a lot better than just 2 seconds saved. 1:46:21

Underwhelming but still cool.

Holy poo poo though, that chat sucks.

AV Club's Gameological Society published a story about Siglemic today. It's cool to see this stuff getting some mainstream coverage, but unfortunately it doesn't look like the reporter got an interview with him or anything so there's not much to it that we don't already know.

Was about to post this. It's a pretty good article, but yeah, it's nothing groundbreaking.

Right now he's -3:51 at Jasmine and been consistently ahead of his best run. Looks like this has potential to be the run so far.

He just got owned on the last battle of the game.
